List of Factory Order Terms and What They Mean

  • Factory Order: also known as a Sold Order, a Factory Order is a custom vehicle build tailored to your exact specifications.
  • VON: once your factory order is placed, your order receives a VON. This is your order's unique, individual tracking identifier, and it will appear in your order documents. The VON number is used to follow your vehicle during the production and scheduling processes.
  • POC: Price Order Confirmation: this is a detailed printout of your custom vehicle build, highlighting your selected packages, add-on options, price, and invoice. This will be similar to your quote provided by North Point Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT but will include your VON and customer info.
  • VIN: Vehicle Identification Number: your vehicle's VIN is its permanent identification number. All vehicles are assigned a VIN, which stays with your model from its production throughout its entire lifetime on the road.
