Miller Park is a great place to spend the day and it has plenty of amenities you can take advantage of while there, including an amphitheater/stage. A park with a lake, what could be better? Winston Lake Park offers you all of the features of an excellent park with access to a lake/pond. You can bring along your fishing poles and try your luck, or you can indulge in all the other activities this park has to offer. Grills, picnic shelters, restrooms, electrical outlets, drinking fountains, and a concession stand are available for you to utilize. You can also play baseball, horseshoes, golf, or throw a Frisbee in the open play area.
There is off-street trail access, parking, and a walking trail to take advantage of as well. Your kids can play in the child play area, at the splash pad, or the swimming pool. There is something for everyone at Winston Lake Park.
If you are into fitness and want a place to work on your physic outdoors, Belview Park is the place to go. There is a fitness/par course that is 1.11-miles long and a walking trail where you can get in your cardio. The rest of the family will enjoy the child play area, open play area, grills, picnic shelters, and basketball court.
Restrooms, parking, off-street trail access, electrical outlets, drinking fountains, a dog waste station, and amphitheater/stage are also available for your convenience. Your dogs will love the dog park located in Washington Park, where they don’t have to be leashed, but remember that all other areas require your dogs to wear a leash.
